Labor and Prego Pillow Massage (6 hours)

First Half:
Learn the benefits, safety concerns, and client assistance on and off with the Prego Pillow. You will practice effective massage techniques specifically in prone position for trapezius, erectors, low back, gluteals and hamstrings. Pregnant women love this pillow!

Second Half:
Learn how to be a "Birth Assistant" through massage. benefits of labor support massage, helpful hints, do's and don'ts, and birth massage supplies will be discussed Hands on practice of positioning and massage for the hospital bed, birth ball and chair.

Tuition $100.

Students need to bring to class:

Massage table/bolster
1 set of sheets
Massage Creme or lotion
2 firm bed pillows
